Broken Table

This classic trestle table was fabricated entirely from surplus building materials from our Broken Camp project.

Utilising a variation on the age-old design approach to trestle tables — two legs linked by a central beam to support a tabletop — Broken Table makes a welcomed addition to the project.

Through its use of leftover spotted gum decking in the top and off-cut joists in the understructure, combined with simple detailing, Broken Table complements the aesthetic of Broken Camp and should similarly weather with time to a silver grey.

Stainless steel rods act as pins to tie the structure together. Removal of the pins allows for easy disassembly for transportation or storage.
